Come join us for the first annual Vermont Cheese Cup: Rumble at Retreat Farm for two full days of brutal melees, epic duels and matched profights here in Brattleboro (Southern Vermont). We’re excited to bring the sport we all know and love to Southern Vermont finally — and our local Vermont community is amped: we’ve got a 24ft by 32ft tabletop list, fun local and armored combat prizes, cash pools and cash prizes, and… obviously THE WINNING MELEE TEAMS GET THE BIG WHEEL OF AWARD-WINNING VERMONT CHEESE (literally— we’re throwing down Vermont style).

As you sit down to plan your 2023 fighting year, add in this new event to sharpen your steel, gather with community, and match your skill against fighters you’ve always wanted to meet.

Event Details:

Fighters can enter the 5v5 melees, the duels tournament or profights (which will be matched ahead of time). Mercs can enter separately from teams and either join a merc team or be matched with an existing team. Duel brackets will include: longsword, shield, buckler, polearm and poleaxe. If there is interest, there will also be a Rookie bracket.

The fighting will take place outside in a 24ft by 32ft tabletop list. Fighters will have an indoor area to kit up and store armor that will be locked safely at night within our venue location.
