Join us for an online talk to discover all about Viking Lincolnshire – How the fearsome Vikings shaped Lincolnshire.
Everyone has an image of what a Viking looks like and it is common knowledge that they settled here in Lincolnshire, but does the popular perception of a Viking match the evidence?
Were they a horde of unwashed barbarian warriors who worshipped pagan gods or were they hard working farmers, traders and craftspeople?
We will examine the evidence as well as look at the Viking legacy of Lincolnshire.
