Tewkesbury Medieval Festival is widely regarded as the biggest free Medieval gathering in Europe with over 2000 re-enactors and traders travelling from as far afield as France, Poland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, and Germany.
The Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre returns to the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey over the fourth weekend of April, 2023. The fayre will open at 10am and close at 5pm each day. Battles, activities, fine ale, the joust and more.
Set in the grounds of Evesham Abbey ruins and its twin medieval churches, there will be over 130 stalls for you to browse, including medieval crafts, arts and weapons – along with modern high quality artisan traders, community groups and charities for you to get to know.
Festival favourites will return in February 2024 with something for everyone!
Join us for a four-course authentic meal, and five hours’ worth of full-on entertainment, medieval minstrels, strictly come medieval dancing and England’s top jester keeping you entertained!
Let the tournament commence! Knights will demonstrate their skills at arms and their squires will be on hand to show the equipment every knight needs to survive in the time of chivalry.
